It stood number 11 on the Billboard chart. The last and arguable the beat ‘Heartache Tonight’ topped the charts in 1979 and went on to win the Grammy for the Best Rock Performance by a Group. In 1980 the band decided to quit and its members moved on to solo careers. Fourteen years later the band made a come back and recorded a few songs. Eagles will remain timeless. It is difficult to imagine what the 70′s music charts would have been without the powerpacked music of the Eagles.
